And Then There’s This By a 6 – 3 margin the Supreme Court ruled to overturn Roe vs. Wade after almost 50 years, so there is no longer a constitutional right for women to have an abortion. Now it’s up to each state to decide to allow them or not. We’ll need to watch how this battle of competing philosophies plays out state by state.
Ukraine Is EU Bound The leaders of the European Union took steps to allow Ukraine to join the European Union. Following Russia’s unprovoked invasion, Ukraine has taken this big step to come under the umbrella of protection the EU can offer. You can donate to the Ukrainian people here. On The Mend My bout of atrial fibrillation in May is now under control with medications. Starting Sunday (6/12) I began to regain energy. I’ve gone for several short bike rides to do errands and go out for coffee. I am scheduled for an outpatient ablation on July 11th. I’ve talked to a few people who have had this procedure or who know people who have — they said after a few days I will feel great. So I’m definitely on the mend. Not quite ready to rock and roll yet but maybe soon …
