The People Have Spoken – The 2022 midterm results are in for some hotly contested Senate and House seats. I hope your candidates won. If they lost, don’t use it as an excuse to underachieve. Accepting the results is a crucial part of our democracy.
Ukraine’s Got Russia Reeling – Russian troops have retreated from the city of Kherson, which is a humiliating defeat for Vlamir Putin’s attempted takeover of Ukrainian territory. While this war isn’t over it appears the tide is turning. You can donate to the Ukrainian people here. Or you can purchase a Ukraine Candle here. All proceeds to to a not-for-profit there.

Talking to Strangers: What We Should Know about the People We Don’t Know Astute social commentary from Malcom Gladwell shows how wrong we can be when we judge unfamiliar people in new situations.
American Rascal:How Jay Gould Built Wall Street’s Biggest Fortune Unlike Carnegie, Rockefeller & Vanderbilt, Jay Gould has no monument, university or building with his name on it.
